Our family’s journey began in Rajgir, a town about 70 kilometers from Bodhgaya. My grandfather, Mohammad Safi was not only a master gemologist but was also endowed with extraordinary healing powers. During one of his travels, he visited Bodhgaya and felt the special spiritual energy of the place. After spending a few days there, he was inspired to dedicate our family’s gemstone collection to bringing happiness and healing to others. Following in my grandfather’s footsteps, my father also became a successful gemologist and healer. He was given the title of "Sufi" in our community for his wisdom and healing work. Interestingly, my mother, who joined our family after marriage, was a professional diamond cutter. Together, they believed in the power of gemstones to bring balance and positivity to people’s lives. This belief has been passed down in our family.

For many years, I worked as a supplier of gemstones internationally, sharing our family’s precious gems and their positive energy with people around the world.

Now, with Chafi & Co, we continue this special family tradition in Bodhgaya the place where it all started.
